Rick PiccoloSpecial to the Herald-TribuneAs the summer travel season approaches it is a good time to review what may be in store should your plans include an airline/airport component. These projects have and will necessitate temporary closures of some restroom and concession facilities and temporary walkway adjustments from parking facilities. The airport has very frequent shuttle service; however, the summer season actually has more parking demand than the heavy winter season as local residents are vacationing. Presently over 1,400 new surface parking lots are in construction and/or final permitting. Have a safe and pleasant summer travel season and thanks, as always, for using SRQ.
